Busy day on the ranch. The neighbors came visiting.

Well our honey bees will be shipped soon.
The hive is set up and we are ready.
There will be about 10-12 thousand bees.

While we like honey, much of it will be donated out.

The bees are more important to us to pollinate our fruit trees, garden, and our grape vineyard, as well as help the environment.

Our Silver Dollar Ranch has been selected to provide a safe lifetime home for a retiring US Army Cavalry horse.

His name is Boomerang (nickname: Boom)

At his new forever home he has 30 safe acres to roam, eat, relax, and occasionally be riden.

He has been a part of the Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard (see link below) for many years.

We sold them 24 goats to help get this business started a couple of years ago.

Restoration Grazing said the goats “have grown a bit” since previous jobs.

We had several guests from a Senior Center come visit the ranch today.

We spent about an hour and a half talking about our journey to build the ranch over the last seven years and then they had a chance to visit and cuddle with some of the goats. They learned alot about Cashmere goats.

It was a wonderful day for all and a great opportunity for these wonderful folks to come visit a new place.

If it wasn't against the rules, I heard several say they were going to take the babies home with them.
