Had some fun yesterday testing some modifications to one of my smokers. Typically, when I run test cooks, I offer the end product up to the public at a discounted (usually about half) price. But I was in the mood for brisket this morning, so this one is for ME!

I got a message recently from someone asking if I smoked baby back ribs. I told them I could, but dont usually, because I think spares are better AND a better value.

So I decided to do a rack for myself, just to get a photo!

I like mine "bite-through." But if "fall-off-the-bone" is more your style, I can do that too!

HALF-PRICE BBQ!

Hello friends! Every week or so i'm either working on a different rub variation, wood mix, cook process, or maybe shooting a training video. And the food that's produced from that goes unclaimed.

What I've been doing is offering it up to the community at half of my usual retail price. Full rack of spare ribs for about $20. Full Packer brisket (serves 8-10) for around $80. Chickens, pork belly, sometimes a meatloaf or a new side, who knows?
