Knott farms has over 50 hives on more than 70 acres and has been producing honey since 2015.

Knott Farms Local Honey will be at the California Farmers Market this Saturday, May 2nd. Come and visit all the local vendors and don't forget to stop by and pickup some of our delicious Local Honey just in time for allergy season! Our bees are working overtime bringing in nectar and turning it into mother natures best honey. In the picture below you can see the bees hard at work.

Knott farms Local Honey will be at the Belmont Friday March 27th from 4pm to 7pm. There will be lots of great vendors along with Rita Bs delicious food! If you need some great Easter gifts look no further. Our bees are bringing in lots of pollen and starting to get stronger every day. In the first picture below see if you can find the Queen Bee? Hint she has a green dot on her back. In the second picture you can see the stored pollen in the cells. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Knott Farms Honey will be at The Home Grown Farm Market LLC on Saturday December 13th from 9am to 1pm. This will be our last market appearance for 2025. We will have plenty of our pure raw unfiltered local honey for sale. We also will have bees wax candles, lip balm, hand cream, beeswax wraps and sourdough bread bags that will make great Christmas gift ideas and stocking stuffers. There are also lots of other great venders there so stop on by. In the picture below the girls are all wrapped up for Christmas and waiting for spring to get here so they can make us some more delicious honey.

Knott Farms Honey will be at the Home Grown Farm Market this Saturday December 6th from 9am to 1pm located at 21078 Three Notch Rd Lexington Park MD. If your looking for great gift ideas and stocking stuffers look no further! If your looking for some delicious local raw honey we have it. There will be lots of great venders there also so come on by.

Knott Farms Honey will be at the Belmont Farm Sunday November 30th from 10am to 2pm. Come by and visit all the great venders and start your Christmas Shopping early this year. Also pickup some of Rita Bs yummy food! Hope to see you there.

Knott Farms Honey will be at the California Farmers Market tomorrow Saturday 11/22 from 9am to 1pm weather permitting. This is the last Saturday for the market this year. Stop by visit all the local venders. We would like to thank our customers for all their support this year. We really enjoy talking with our customers and sharing our knowledge of beekeeping especially with the kids. The picture below is how we store our Honey supers for the winter. We clean them and paint them if necessary. They are wrapped and stacked ready for the spring honey flow usually by the end of March.

Knott Farms Honey will be at the California Farmers Market tomorrow Saturday September 13 from 9am to 1pm. Hope to see you there. The picture below is a swarm we caught on June 12th this year. The swarm was so large I had to add a 2nd box. When the bees are all lined up trying to get in you know you have the Queen inside. After the bees settled down we moved them to a new location and they ended up producing some delicious honey for us.

In the picture below is a great shot of an early morning Sunrise over Knott Farms. The beekeeper is up but I'm sure the Bees are still in bed dreaming of making some delicious honey today.
