After 872 days of rain & clouds, the sun is supposed to SHINE all weekend long ☀️ Come see us! Blooms, mums, and heirloom pumpkins (and unfortunately, mud.. please don’t wear your Sunday best!!)!

Did you come to our grand opening and wonder what we’d do with the spent sunflowers that boarded the flower field? Well, we grazed it!

The heifers are really enjoying a sunflower snack 🌻 We would have done it much sooner, but the weather had other plans and we didn’t want to graze it while it was too wet.

Our self serve, you-pick flower field is open every day, sun up to sun down (this might be the last week!). We have mums + heirloom pumpkins, too! See you at the flower field 🌼

Our giveaway basket winners have been picked! 🥳

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much to everybody for coming out yesterday (+ throughout the summer!) and supporting our crazy dreams. While there are likely a few more weeks left of blooms to cut this year, we can't wait to see what the 2027 growing season has in store for us! 💐

Today is the day! It is still extra soggy, but it looks like the rain is going to clear out in time! Please bare through the long post with a couple notes from OGA:

1. Please be aware that we are a working farm. There will be plenty of wet gravel, mud, and puddles with the amount of rain we've had over the last 2 weeks. Wear appropriate foot coverings for your visit- we do not recommend your Sunday best 😆 Parking along our loop driveway and the road will be best- please be respectful of others.

2. Some of our plants have also taken a hit with the rain and lack of sunshine, but there are still lots of beautiful blooms to cut + new sunflowers!

3. There are additional vendors that would love your support, please show them love while you are here!

4. OGA accepts cash and Venmo as payment (though our guest vendors may be different!).

5. We cannot wait to celebrate our first year open with you all! Our ribbon cutting with the Chariton Chamber will be at 2PM and we will be here until 7PM! There are 4 great giveaway baskets and an opportunity to support our local animal shelter! Come out and cut flowers, shop, and eat! 🌻
