I gotta say the is freaking 🔥. Hands down there seasonal downtowns are in the top 3 in Charleston. This strawberry vanilla glazed donut with fruity pebbles was everything I nostalgically needed.

If you haven’t had the homemade dogs/sausages from you dont know what you are missing! Check the out on Saturdays, Sunday market and definitely going to need to get them to this concert season! It was the snappiest dog! Sooo good.

When says they are creating their version of for New Year’s Eve you pack up + head@to Savannah! This throwback honoring Chef’s dad (who worked for Red Lobster for 43 years) NAILED those biscuits. Going reminded me of restaurants of my childhood from portions to hospitality to the delicious of simplicity. If you didn’t need another reason to Brochu’s is it! (Make reservations + hands down some of the best modern takes on fried chicken + oysters in the southeast!)

Who remembers Chef ?! Well if you find yourself in Savannah, a stop at is a MUST! Lucky for us we had tickets to New Year’s Day wellness event so getting lunch at for the Italian sandwich + Greek tabbouleh salad was a NO BRAINER! This sandwich was freaking awesome! I haven’t had an Italian this good in a long ass time! 🥖 My two cents: Stay in the starlanddistrict (we stayed at so adorable) you are in walking distance of some of the best stops like ! These mussels from were absolutely delicious! Definitely get extra bread to sop up the coconut based broth. I could’ve drank the bowl! More pics coming soon!

BAR WEEMS NOW OPEN!

Last rainy Friday we really wanted soup and since Bar Weems is on the way home we thought we would give it a try since they just opened.

Knowing it’s a couple days in, barely in its infancy, we were not a rush and just happy to see what they’ve done to the space.

The food was absolutely delicious. They even make their own noodles and have a noodle room! The wood ear mushrooms interactive dish I could eat every day! The chicken karage were delish. Ray got the Miso and I got the veggie add chasu (pork). 😍

The staff was great, food was awesome, we will definitely be back. As always any restaurant open less than 30 days is working out some kinks so please extend grace and patience. We aren’t typically week 1 people but very very happy we stopped!

Would you like some pasta with that white truffle? Another amazing dish at ! If you haven’t been yet, definitely move it to the top of your list!

Always a lovely day when we can spend it with our F&B fam at ! It was a gorgeous day on the creek with delicious food. Where did you spend Thanksgiving?
