Made a trip back to and it had been toooooo long! The menu had so many options to try but with the tapas style atmosphere we got to do some damage! Don’t skip on the Basque cheesecake, Gilda and absolutely let them guide you through some sherries while you eat! Malagon (and ) are one of a handful of places that can get me to happily eat anchovies EVERY TIME!

Eleven years ago when I moved here there were 3 places the local foodies would go get legit street tacos. Tlaxcalita on Ashley Phosphate, Torres Superette on Rutledge, and the much loved on Remount which we had some cash in our pocket + thought what the heck today’s the day! Chicharrones, cabeza, pastor and barbacoa. All a must! Love seeing all of the new street taco options but this post is just a friendly reminder of the OGs that are still serving deliciousness every day!

In the beginning of the year we made the decision to write down all the places we haven’t visited in awhile but more importantly all the ones that have been on our list we haven’t tried yet.

We don’t always go have dinner, sometimes it’s just a snack but either way we are expanding.

Over the course of the last 6 months we have found and re-found some gems. Work + life have been so busy they’ve been just living rent free in my photos!

One day we stopped for a quick snack (I had a hankering for French onion soup) while we were downtown. Found ourselves close to downtown on King Street so decided to walk over.

Loved loved the French onion soup. Also got some deviled eggs with lobster and the Green Fairy cocktail. Staff was knowledgeable + friendly. Space was really pretty. We didn’t have a ton of time but excited to go back for dinner or to try their sister spot Le Cave.

Some birthday time on Tybee!

I got to spend time last week for my birthday in Savannah/Tybee. So many great spots I am going to share over the next couple of days.

This one is dedicated to a couple great spots in Tybee!

First + foremost is a gem of a spot. It’s hot dogs, oysters, and tiki cocktails. It’s everything you want near a beach.

We also made a stop at just went for a cocktail but the pizza looked solid. Sat outside to enjoy the beautiful day! It’s also next to all these little cottages with various artists and stores!

When in Savannah/Tybee I highly recommend . I was hesitant at first but every local said it was a must. Save room for Key Lime Pie! The fish/shrimp literally come in 50ft out the back door. It doesn’t get any fresher. Peel n eats, fried shrimp and catch of the day (we got triple tail, blackened) were all amazing!

If you haven’t had the homemade dogs/sausages from you dont know what you are missing! Check the out on Saturdays, Sunday market and definitely going to need to get them to this concert season! It was the snappiest dog! Sooo good.
