If you’re heading to here are a few must-try spots:

🦀 has been a staple in the market for fresh seafood and unreal specials. Their soft shell crab sandwich is officially back in season, so grab one while you can because they go fast.

🥥 is hands down one of my favorite rum distilleries. They’ve got a great lineup of rum cocktails, but the Cocomotion is always my go-to.

🍙 serves up Filipino-Hawaiian comfort food and is known for their massive musubis. Perfect spot when you want something quick, filling, and seriously good.

Definitely add these to your next Union Market stop 👀

Manifesting for to have a location in DC! Love the variety they offer including this Extra Large Frozen Coffee!! The best part is that the price for this was only $6.75. Don’t sleep on the breakfast burritos too, they are filling and tasty. 😋

Cafe Diaries: Charleston Edition ☕️

We checked out 3 must-visit spots, each with its own vibe:

• — technically a full restaurant, but don’t sleep on their to-go counter. Coffee, pastries, amazing brunch… all hit.
• — a lucky find near our Airbnb. Vintage-hip feel, super cozy for a WFH moment, and they roast their beans in-house. Don’t skip the baked goods or the egg sando + hashbrown 🔥
• — from the team behind Sorelle. Always a line (locals warned us 😅), but does go by quickly. A wide variety of coffee specials + baked goods!

Charleston really doesn’t miss when it comes to cafés.

This actually should be a thing. I know I’m not the only one who needs to be in bed by 10PM. Who’s in?🤭

Visited Charleston for the weekend and it was the perfect weather to go out and check out all the cafes, restaurants and the beautiful sights!

Here is a sneak peak of some of the places we visited. Such a beautiful city and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!

Osaka Day 2 Snaps 📸

1. Tennoji Park Bridge that has a cool view of Tsutenkaku observation tower.
2. Katsu Hana was one of the best tonkatsu we’ve had. It was a highlight of our trip.
3. Dotonbori during sunset. Loved the many bright characters & neon signs on the walls of the buildings.
4. .craftchocolate a must try next to the entrance of Tennoji Park. Love the pastries and this chocolate cake was so good!
5. Katsu Hana doorway. Reservations highly recommended because it’s a small space.
6. Free ice cream at the end of our meal at Katsu Hana. We got Strawberry & Black Sesame and they were both delicious.😋
7. One of the buildings at Sh*tenno-ji Temple grounds.
8. Walking to Sh*tenno-ji Temple gardens and we were following google maps and it sent us to the back where we had to walk through a group of school kids playing. It was definitely awkward but we kept it moving. 😅
9. McDonald’s breakfast in Japan. I love McGriddles & I’m so happy they only use round eggs here. The bacon was more like Canadian bacon.
10. The Sh*tenno-ji garden had a heron that reminded me of ‘The Boy & the Heron’ Studio Ghibli movie. So cool!
11. Beautiful pond in the Japanese Garden.
12. Totoro at the Ghibli Store (Donguri Kyowakoku) inside PARCO mall in Shin Sai Bashi. This store had a good selection and cool photo-ops.
13. Another beautiful Sh*tenno-ji Temple building.
14. Dotonbori street at night.
15. Tonbori River walk during sunset. The streets get more crowded the darker it gets. So if you want a good photo without the crowd go early!

Osaka Day 1 Snaps 📸

1. Walking through the markets early in the morning.
2. Niku bowl at Udon Kyutaro for breakfast.

4. Dotonbori Street sign during sunset. Now realizing they spell it differently on all the signage. 😆
5. Dinner time.
6. Cute smaller alleys in Dotonbori.

9. The onigiri we ordered for lunch at Onigiri Gorichan and miso soup.
10. Will always get an iced latte in 30F degree weather. I was shaking the entire time I was at the hair salon cause I was cold. 😅

12. Walking through this higher end shopping street with nice looking buildings.
13. Tonbori River walk in the morning with Ebisu Tower Ferris Wheel.
