Abby joined the 5th Street Group in 2018 as Marketing & Sales Coordinator for the Charlotte market and quickly made her mark. Through consistent results and creative leadership, she earned multiple promotions, became a Partner in 2021 and was promoted to Vice President of Marketing & Promotions in 2022. Lauren Kearsley is one of 5th Street Group's longest tenured employees. Since joining the company in 2012, she has worn many hats, moving from office assistant to eventually becoming head of Accounting and Human Resources and overseeing just about everything in between.

She possesses more institutional knowledge than most anyone and embodies company ideals, while wearing integrity as a badge of honor.

As Vice President of Company Culture, she leads from the top down by example, inspiring positivity, creativity and purpose in the work we do every day!

Nic Newton began with the 5SG as a server in 2014. He has worked in essence, every position in the restaurant, can fix virtually any problem, and always does so with a seemingly impossible constant positive attitude.

Matt Pressley began with the 5SG as a server at Church and Union Charleston. Instantly beloved by his coworkers and management, Matt has been a leader and an important voice within the 5SG leadership

Congratulations on the Promotion!

Chelsea Ball, Director of Operations

Chelsea joined the company during the outset of COVID as a manager at La Belle Helene. She curated, through an incredible effort, one of the finest operations in uptown Charlotte. Chelsea has gone on to assist with the operations and openings of many of the 5SG restaurants.

She sets the standard for refinement and hospitality; and does so by never pulling punches and shooting straight; no matter if it’s easy or hard.
