So we did something new today with the family. Great friends from New York brought down apples and we made apple c***r with our friends dad’s 120 year old press and it worked great. Thanks again everyone who came out and made it happen.

Worked in the high tunnel again today getting ready to start shutting it down for winter. It’s been a good year for it , tomatoes, peppers, green beans, onions, beets, lettuce, eggplant and potatoes.

🌶️ It’s Pepper Time! 🫑

We’ve got peppers coming in, and we’re trying to find different ways to use them up!

Terri has already made Cowboy Candy, chopped some up and put them in the freezer, and tomorrow we’re making stuffed peppers.

Finally level out and put the lag bolts on and bracing. So now we are waiting for more rain to get the pond level up to make sure it’s ok.

Well, I think we have successfully built our first watering trough with the automatic water level believe the cows have now learned that it’s here so now we can fence off the new pond keep them out of it since now they have a watering source appear in the pasture and then we’ll move down to the lower pasture and we’ll install that watering trough there next
