To my dear customers, lifestyle supporters, and friends,
This message has been long overdue, but itās one I knew I had to share.
Over the past year and a half, the cost of high-quality ingredientsāespecially the organic and specialty items I useāhas doubled, and in some cases, even tripled. As someone committed to never compromising on quality, Iāve made the difficult but necessary decision to increase the prices of my products.
If you live a sustainable lifestyle, I believe youāll understand why this step is important. My goal has always been to provide desserts made with the finest, most wholesome ingredientsāand that hasnāt changed.
Please also know that the cost of a cake isnāt just about ingredients. It includes sustainable packaging, disposable baking sheets and gloves, EWG-certified soaps and cleaning products, rising insurance costs, domain and hosting fees, and transaction and card processing fees (which you may have seen added to restaurant bills in recent years). And, of course, thereās the labor and time involved in crafting every orderāespecially custom ones made with care.
I donāt spend money on advertising, because you have been my greatest supportersāspreading the word and lifting this small business up. For that, Iām truly grateful.
As I continue to do my best to deliver the same, if not better, quality and service, I hope you understand this decision and continue to support a business built on sustainability, respect for Mother Nature, and the very best ingredientsāfor us and for our children.
