Cardinal Tree Farms On James Island

Did you know that Christmas tree seeds come from a cone? 🌱

During the years when trees produce cones, growers will collect these cones in the late summer. The cones will be carefully dried so the seed can be removed and cleaned, so that they are ready to be planted. 🪏

Eventually those seeds will grow into a new generation of Christmas trees! 🌲
