Why local products for our Honey Lavender Ice Cream!?

We’ll start with the local honey! Appalachian Honey Bee Co!

First and foremost, we’re supporting someone in our community! Someone who has a family to support, someone who is passionate about bees, and someone that’s willing to take a leap with us to offer a flavor profile you aren’t going to find anywhere else!

Why is local honey better?

“Local honey is better because it is raw and unprocessed, meaning it retains beneficial enzymes, antioxidants, and trace amounts of local pollen stripped away in commercial processing. This pollen helps your immune system desensitize to regional allergens, and the unheated honey acts as a more potent antibacterial and cough suppressant.”

Oh, and there’s the critical little thing called flavor!

“Buds & Buzzes” sundae, available while supplies last!

One pound bottles are available at our shop!

$40 Queens for sale $40.

All queens grafted from great honey producer, low to no swarm tendencies, good housekeeping, and gentle. In other words, from a good line of queens.

DM with questions.

Can you say perfect collision? Doesn’t really sound right, but WOW!

This, is going to be amazing! Local, meets local, meets local!

Collaborations are what WV peeps do! We can’t wait to introduce this one!

We sourced the closest honey from Appalachian Honey Bee Co as well as locally grown lavender from Appalachian Botanical Co.

What shall we name this beauty?

Unlike last year, honey flow is good this year in Kanawha County. This hive is doing great and everything you see is full. Plus I used Damaree splits which is a big help to create a large hive of bees….as you can see. I should have started it years ago. The deep box mid way up has to be 90lbs, lol
