Happy Friday everyone! Inventory Update 👇🏼

We’ve got plenty of carving pumpkins left along with our Carve & Glow kits! Specialty/mini pumpkins are in short supply (no restock coming), raw honey and maple syrup have been restocked, Whipped tallow is stocked (although the lip balm is temporarily out), and we have lots of great new product from Good Co. like face & hair spritzers, and salves!

Looks like most of the rain has passed for the day and this weekend is going to be BEAUTIFUL! Have a wonderful rest of the day! Hope to see you at the stand ✨

It’s delivery day!! We are excited to add a couple of new varieties from Keene Garlic this year AND welcome back an old favorite! 🧄

We’ve been growing garlic for well over a decade, but somehow we’ve never grown Elephant Garlic before! The cloves are so big it’s actually comical. I don’t think they’d fit into our garlic flight cartons very well 😂 Fun fact: Elephant Garlic is actually more closely related to leeks than true garlic! That’s partly why we’ve always skipped over it, but honestly it’s just too fun to ignore any longer!

“Chesnok Red” is making its comeback! This was one of our O.G varieties and has always been a die-hard favorite. We lost our crop last year after some pest issues, so we’re starting small and will be working on building our stash back up again.

Finally, we’re welcoming a completely new variety called “Vietnamese Red”. It is a large Purple Stripe variety with a mild garlic spice and a creamy, slightly sweet flavor with a smooth, buttery texture. It’s supposed to be especially good for sautéing and roasting. We are really excited to sample this one.

These guys will be going in the ground soon, and then the dirt nap begins! Slowly but surely we are building back up our collection. We will be back up to 12 varieties this fall and we hope to add a couple more each year 🧄

Does anyone else LOVE when you completely forget you bought something… and then find it later? 😂 It’s basically a little surprise gift from past-you to present-you.

I was going through inventory and I completely forgot I ordered extra ½ gallons of our NH maple syrup!

If you’ve tried this syrup before… you probably understand why Im so excited. Everyone who tries this stuff gets hooked on it! 1/2 gallons are available by reservation only- other sizes are stocked in the stand!

Funny enough, we really aren’t big pancake people. We use maple syrup much more often as a replacement for regular sugar. It goes in our overnight oats, smoothies, muffins, baking and yes, the occasional batch of pancakes. We actually just made a super yummy batch of muffins the other day, so I might as well share! We are a big health conscious family especially because of our daughter’s disorder, so these are extremely low in carbs (4.7g per muffin!) low in natural sugars, high in protein and also gluten and dairy free!

🍁 MAPLE APPLE-SPICE PROTEIN MUFFINS Makes 12
• 2½ cups superfine blanched almond flour
• 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
• 2 eggs
• 1½ scoops cinnamon roll protein powder (vanilla works great too- any brand but ours is 20g per scoop)
• ¼ cup ground flaxseed
• 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 tsp apple pie spice
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix everything until combined and divide evenly between 12 lined or greased muffin cups. Bake for 24–27 minutes (we us silicone pans so cook time may vary depending on material) or until the centers are set and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.

One little warning: If you aren’t used to the texture of almond-flour baked goods, you can swap the almond flour for regular flour. Just keep in mind that it will change the nutritional benefits quite a bit.

Peggy here. We need to talk.

Apparently there’s a Nor’easter coming this weekend, and management has made the highly questionable decision to CLOSE THE FARMSTAND SATURDAY & SUNDAY.

Boss Lady seems to be taking this whole “storm prep” thing pretty seriously. What even is a Nor’ester anyways?

She’s filling the bathtub, gathering candles and even baking bread… Which can only mean one thing.

She’s planning me a ✨SPA WEEKEND! ✨

FINALLY. A little appreciation around here.
Honestly, it’s about time. I’m thinking candlelight… snacks… maybe a nice warm bath. I’m not entirely sure what the bread is for, but I assume refreshments are included.

Unfortunately, before my spa weekend can begin, Boss has me working overtime preparing for this so called “storm”. Ridiculous…

✨THE IMPORTANT STUFF:
The farmstand will be OPEN today (Friday) until 6, then CLOSED SATURDAY & SUNDAY while the storm moves through. We’ll be back MONDAY 10–6!

Have you ever instantly regretted a choice?

Well, our dog June Bug may have experienced that feeling of instant, deep regret at approximately 5AM Saturday morning when she decided to POUNCE like a puppy onto a perfume kitty. 🦨

And just like that… our entire weekend and, apparently, our yard was rearranged.

Things escalated rather quickly after said pouncing.

We went from a nice peaceful morning…
to gagging and airing out the house…
to canceling our family trip to NH…
to booking a groomer for the first time (excellent experience, by the way!)…
to somehow RIPPING OFF OUR ENTIRE BACK DECK to prevent any more smelly little visitors from hiding underneath it.

Frogs were found.
Hammers came in contact with hands.
Curse words were thrown like glitter.

But in the end, we came out of it with a new project, a mostly clean dog, and absolutely no vacation. 😂

Moral of the story??
There really isn’t one…
BUT instead of being closed for vacation, the farmstand will remain OPEN TODAY & TOMORROW!

And as a little bonus, we also have a couple dozen fresh eggs available!

So come take a ride, grab some fall goodies, and enjoy the fact that our dog's poor decision making has resulted in two extra shopping days!

A FEW NEW THINGS AT THE FARMSTAND THIS WEEKEND!

We’re stocked up for another beautiful fall weekend! Pumpkins, mums, fall décor, raw local honey, pure NH maple syrup, locally made soaps & tallow, and more!

*NEW* Pumpkin Spice Botanical Brooms Pumpkin spice scented brooms dressed with dried fall botanicals from our farm + beautiful citrus slices. Each one is a little different and they smell SO good! $15.00 available for reservations!

We’re also excited to welcome Laurie from Good Co. Rhode Island to our farmstand family! We have a few of her locally made salves available now, with more skin & hair products arriving next week.

The season of giving is approaching quick and before we give everything we have… we’ve decided to sneak away for a quick little vacation before the busiest part of the year hits.
