We can fill the barn and the woodshed without a drop of fossil fuels if we have to. I don’t want to have to.

Cora did a great job showing her goat Pepe at the Tunbridge World’s Fair this morning. It was her second time showing. We also enjoyed rides and food and the old museum before joining in on the cavalcade fun. Many thanks to Dancing Bear Farm for making it all happen!

I just finished building a new single tree with hardware my great grandfather forged many years ago. Turns out I could only use the center key as when I tightened the outer bolts the threads couldn’t handle the torque.

New hardware on a locust chunk I hope will last another hundred years.

Cora has been working hard getting ready for the fair. Many thanks to our friends at Dancing Bear Farm!

The goats are headed to the Tunbridge Worlds Fair tomorrow afternoon! Kids from our education program have been working with our six youngest goats the past few months to prepare for the show: training them to walk on a leash, building trust, and grooming. You can join us at the fair to visit the goats Thursday through Sunday - come watch us participate in the Goat Show, parade, or costume contest!

A great video from a fun party. It’s never a bad idea to start and end with Suffolks!
