Hey... it's that time of year and apples are a'plenty. Try your hand at one of western civilizations oldest alcoholic concoctions - hard cider.

Some solidly awesome reasons to give it a go:

1. It's crazy easy
2. It's crazy cheap
3. It's crazy fast from fermentation to the pint glass
4. You'll love it - and be hooked

Here's one of the best simple recipes I've ever seen on the subject - you can do this with very little investment of time and equipment.

So back in May, I found this kickass Kickstarter campaign for one of the coolest products: The Man Can.

What's a Man Can? Well, if your into beer, this is gonna make tons of sense, and if your not, you soon will be. Here's the skinny, Man Can is brewery quality keg system that's sized right for maximum portability and usability in the home. That last bit is key, it really is a keg that you can drop in the door of your fridge and not cause a major incident in the home. Anyway, I just received my Man Can and I'll be posting more info about it shortly. For now, here's the Kickstarter product vid.

Enjoy!...oh and you're welcome..
