Trainwreck Farms Farm Fresh Blooms Grown With Love & Chaos šŸ’• I started this endeavor with no clue as to what I was doing. What started as a total whim has turned into my passion.

I just knew that I loved flowers and wanted to grow them to share with others. Being in the garden with my hands in the dirt makes me incredibly happy as does seeing the smile on customers faces when they get a thoughtfully gathered bouquet . This little farm has lots of room for growth and that is exactly my plan. Like my page to stay up to date!

As many have learned, on May 2nd my flower camper was stolen from our yard. While we still have no suspects, it was recovered. It was being lived out of in Muskegon. I am honestly very surprised it made it that far. It did not return in good condition and will need some repair.

After much thought, I have decided to take the summer off from growing. My family has experienced a very difficult winter and we've had a lot on our plates. I have been extremely overwhelmed and need some time to reevaluate how my time is being spent.

With that being said, I planted over 1,000 peonies in the fall with the intention of transitioning to growing only peonies in the future. They need about a 3 year start and I will continue to plant more peonies each fall adding more varieties each year.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out about the camper and supported Trainwreck Farms the past 5 summers.

In this episode of True Stories From the Farm…I planted over 260 Gladiolas bulbs yesterday (YAYYYY!!!)
And the Ruby, my Great Dane/farm mascot first ran hot laps through said planting and then proceeded to dig 2 large holes flinging bulbs all over the yard (BOOOOOOOO, bad dog, Ruby!)
*pic of my super helpful mascot to remind me how cute she is when I actually want to kill her

🌸 It’s that time of the year…
Spring, Mother’s Day and
FLOWER SUBSCRIPTION sign up!

Why give one bouquet of flowers to MOM when you can give her 5 weeks worth?!?

How it works…

šŸ’sign up by replying below (you can buy them for yourself, too!)

šŸ’Around the end of June/beginning of July (Mother Nature is in charge here) I’ll be in touch and bouquets can be picked up from the camper at the end of the driveway on either Monday or Thursday. You will have a few other options such as wrapped or in a Mason jar and pick up or delivery.

šŸ’Here are a few kind words about last year’s subscription…

ā€œI’ve loved every week. This is by far one of my favorite gifts I’ve ever been given. Thank you so so much!!ā€

ā€œMy daughter and I looked forward to coming to pick out our flowers every week. Love this idea!ā€

ā€œI loved my flowers SO MUCH from last week and they’re still going strong!ā€

šŸ’$150 for 5 weeks of bouquets. Delivery is available for an additional $25

šŸ’mini bouquet and gift certificate included for Sunday

Time to bring the outside in! Now is the perfect time to force blooming branches. These are crabapple but you can force all kinds. Last year I forced my forsythia. It was so much fun to watch the buds open a little each day. (I also painted my red dining room black last spring. I LOVE it!)

P.S. I just cut them & put them in a clean vase of water but you could follow the Instructions aboveā¬†ļø
