To all of our wonderful customers,

This year has been the year for many changes. After 65 years the Rosenthal family has decided to close Rosenthal Orchards. We are so thankful and grateful to all of you for making our farm a very happy and family friendly place. You all have blessed us and made our lives full. You will all be missed !!

Since our farm will be closed, we would like to suggest another farm which we highly recommend as a wonderful family farm that does pick your own. Shooks farms of Central Lake. shooksfarms.weebly.com . They have purchased our cherry pitter so you can still get those wonderful tart cherries pitted for you !! And who knows since our farm will no longer have cherries you may see me out there picking some along side you ! :)

OK EVERYONE, I KNOW MANY HAVE BEEN CALLING TO FIND OUT THE STARTING HARVEST DATE OF THIS YEARS CHERRY CROP. WELL HERE WE GO......

WE WILL OPEN SUNDAY, JULY 9TH FOR SWEET CHERRIES. WE WILL HAVE SOME EARLY SOURS READY. BUT THE MAIN CROP OF SOUR (PIE ) CHERRIES WILL BE JULY 12TH. CHERRIES SHOULD GO FOR 3 WEEKS.

PICK YOUR OWN !! I DON'T HAVE MANY WORKERS THIS YEAR. THANKFULLY MOST OF MY CUSTOMERS LOVE TO PICK!!! SO WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL SOON !!!!

For the year 2016. We will begin picking black cherries July 8th. This is how they look today on June 29th.
