Five years of food that brings you home. ❤️

Today marks five years of Sweets & Savories by JoyMarie—and I have spent a lot of time thinking about what this past year truly meant.

This year didn’t look like the years filled with competitions, awards and constant events. It was a year of restructuring, learning, surviving and finding balance. It was the year I chose to make more room for my children, my family and, most importantly, myself—without giving up on the dreams I have worked so hard to build.

And when I step back, I realize just how much happened.

Sweets & Savories was recognized as a Top 16 bakery in the country at the Dessert Wars National Finale. I launched Queens Eats Italian Mobile Bistro, introduced our signature grazing tables and expanded our catering experiences. We returned to Festa Italiana and served more than 1,000 portions in honor of St. Anthony. I also became a proud member and sponsor of the Charlotte Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America.

This year taught me that growth isn’t always louder, busier or more visible. Sometimes growth means creating a stronger foundation, learning when to slow down and building a business that leaves room for the person behind it to live, too.

Thank you to every person who has ordered, shared a post, attended an event, visited the trailer, recommended my business or continued to believe in what I create. You have helped carry this dream through every season.

The Bakery is back in full swing! Tarallucci Al Limone, Regina Biscotti (sesame cookies), Pignoli cookies, Raspberry Sandwich cookies, cannoli tarts trio and so much more. All being prepared for this Wednesday’s Ballantyne Farmer's Market from 10am-1pm. Preorders are still available and will close by 3pm tomorrow.

Parents, WE survived the first week of Back to school! I think you deserve a night off!
Queens Eats is hitting two of our favorite Matthews stops this week! 🇮🇹🗽

Join us Thursday, August 27, at Carolina Beer Temple from 5–9 PM, then catch us Friday, August 28, at Matthews Social House & Lounge from 6 PM–midnight!

We’re still putting the finishing touches on this weekend’s menu, but the beer brats are officially making an appearance! We’ll also have a very limited number of our Ribeye Philly Supremes, plus a few delicious snackable favorites for sharing—or keeping entirely to yourself.

Hello, September! 🍎🍂

I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to summer, but I’m excited for apple cider donuts, cozy fall flavors, and all the season has to offer! If there’s interest I’ll make Apple Streusel Cinnamon Rolls too!

Last night we served Waxhaw and today Sweets & Savories by JoyMarie gets to compete in a Sauce Off with Charlotte Sons & Daughters of Italy - OSDIA. I love being able to bring my kids and have them be a part of it all!
