I did not get any pictures of the making process for this one but here is my latest segmented bowl. It’s made from Tazalam, maple and yellow heart. Each row is made from 48 individual pieces and there are 24 rows for a total of 1,152 individual pieces. This one was an exercise in patience.

Our next market is at Matthews Alive over Labor Day weekend. Come by and see what all we have been making over the summer!!

We are heading to the Mt. Mitchell Craft Fair, where we are vendors tomorrow and Saturday, and took the opportunity to stop by our favorite lumber store West Penn Hardwoods. This is definitely one of our happy places.

Finished another segmented bowl. This one is made from 325 pieces of maple, wenge and Bloodwood. It is approximately 14 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall.

Hollowing out my next bowl. Something about shavings coming off the tool like this is really satisfying. I’ll post pics of the bowl once it’s finished.
