Over the past few days we’ve had the opportunity to reflect on our operation. Since the beginning we’ve often questioned if this was all worth it. Building a barn, flushing ewes, pushing genetics, the daily grind of managing the numbers we have. Days can be long and sleep can be scarce, yet days like Sunday make every second and dollar spent worth it.

This year’s Indiana State Fair is not possible without all of the people that stand in our corner. Our family and friends are truly the best in the business. We are forever in your debt and cannot say thank you enough. In order to win sheep shows it truly takes a village, and I wouldn’t trade ours for love nor money. We are truly blessed!

What went from a little kids dream that he’s played out in his head over and over again, to becoming a reality is a testament that dreams can come true!

The 2026 Indiana State Fair will live in our hearts forever.
