If I am the sum of those I surround myself with, then I understand why I will not fail. The Board Black Girl is a family and framily run business. It’s much more than beautifully curated boards; together we keep this vessel afloat, and I appreciate my support system so much.

Standing beside me as my business partners, my CFO, my encouragement and half of my brain, is my husband and our daughter. (He wrote an amazing book for start up businesses, please go check that out)

Responsible for my branding, social media and marketing is my CMO (Her consulting company can assist you with your personal and business branding and other consulting service)

Hey new followers! Thank you for your support. We can’t wait to grow with you, and hopefully serve you in the near future. My name is Ebony, also known as The Board Black Girl! BBG started as a labor of love in 2014. I have always enjoyed entertaining in my home for friends and family. I began making charcuterie and cheese boards for small get-togethers and couple’s nights in. After much encouragement from my family and friends, and a longgggg time of pondering and brewing, I finally took that leap of faith in early 2020. Welcome to my journey!

Closing in on one full year as an official business, one of the things I’ve learned was to give myself a little grace. The bumps in the road of trying to run a brand new business as a wife, mom, and executive have been plentiful. Some things happened much faster than I was ready and prepared for, and some times I had to take a full stop to regroup and get it all together. I am so thankful for the people in my corner who remind me that “That’s okay”! Everything happens in it’s it time. Everything is working for your good!
