We had a fantastic time talking all things fruit trees — from how to care for them, to when and how to prune for the best results. Whether you’re new to gardening or a seasoned backyard grower, we were glad to answer your questions and help you feel more confident caring for your own trees.

Hundreds of customers volunteered on November 2nd for the 19th Annual Pick a Peck for People, picking over 9,000 pounds of apples in three hours. The collected apples were distributed to the Greater Lansing Food Bank, Believers Church Food Pantry, the St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank, and PW Protect Life, while My Family Life Radio rewarded volunteers with complimentary wagon rides and corn maze entries. Mark your calendars for next year's event: Sunday, November 1st, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m.

It is our FINAL DAY to be open for the year when you may walk in to get apples, donuts and cider for Thanksgiving, but you can still reserve your pies, donuts & cider by ordering online until 4 pm today. We have our Lost and Found laid out. If any of these items are yours, we are open Fridays and Saturdays, 9 to 6 PM, and Sundays, 11-6 PM until November 23. 🥧 We will open for our last day on November 26 for pies and donuts from 9 AM to 6 PM. 🍩. If items are not claimed by November 26, they will be donated to the Palliative Care Center in Charlotte, Michigan.
