We've been in the cleanup mode now. 2026 season is a wrap! We ended up with 14,888 gallons of sap and 327 gallons of syrup! We would have gotten a little more, but the motor on the vacuum pump pumped its last. I'll rebuild it over the summer. Time to start working on next season, never ends!

The end is near! And so is my wood! I've went through 3 1/2 of those stacks so far. 24' long 8 feet high. Should hold me over for the rest of the week. By the looks of the forecast we will probably be done by next weekend. What a record breaking year! I'll give you totals when we are finished.

Well, we broke our all time sap collection today, we are over 13,000 gallons of sap and it's still flowing! This has been an incredible year!

We broke our all time syrup production of 257 gallons tonight! We still have quite a ways to go in the season yet. Hoping for over 400 gallons this year.

Finally getting caught up on our boiling. Down to 1300 gallons behind from over 4000 behind. The warm weather made the sap flow slow down. We should have a day or two recovery before it starts back up again. Definitely a record breaking year! 262 more gallons of sap beats our all time sap record. 33 more gallons of syrup beats that record.

Another overflowing tank in Vermontville! 1000 gallons. 1500 gallons yesterday and 1800 today! I'm not keeping up. Boiled from 930am until 2 am last night, fired up about 1045 this morning. I'll see how long I can go tonight. I'll be boiling all weekend, literally! If you want to stop out.
