If you're a Birdsong regular, you know Mike—our tap room lead with the dry sense of humor, a passion for cooking (and lately, sourdough), and enough beer knowledge to chat about just about any style.

Next Monday, 6/29, Mike is taking over Trivia Night and putting your knowledge to the test with questions covering a little bit of everything: movies, music, history, Birdsong facts, and plenty of random surprises along the way. And yes, there will be a music round—because we're Birdsong and we love music.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and father figures who taught us how to ride a bike, fire up a grill, cast a line, fix just about anything, and appreciate a good beer at the end of the day.

🏃🍺 EXIT 3A IS BACK.

Last year's beer was such a hit that we decided it deserved another lap.

Named after Charlotte's most notorious I-277 exit ramp, Exit 3A IPA returns this Thursday as our latest Thursty Thursday release. Strata and Cascade hops bring classic citrus and tropical notes, finishing crisp at 6.3% ABV. It's bright, refreshing, and built for post-run hangs, post-work pints, and swapping stories with friends.

Available on draft in the taproom only, starting Thursday.

On purpose.

Most days, we'd rather encourage conversation than competition for screen time. But it's not every day that the USA is playing in the World Cup.

So this Friday at 3PM, we're making an exception.

Grab a beer from the main bar, then head into our Private Event Room where we'll have the USA vs. Australia match on the big screen. It's a comfortable, family-friendly space to cheer on the USMNT together.

Meet Brie, our Adoptable Dog of the Month! 🐾

At just 6 months old, Brie is already checking all the boxes: house trained, crate trained, great with kids, gentle on leash, and a champion snuggler. While she may be a little shy at first, she quickly warms up and absolutely loves spending time with other dogs.

Brie is curious, sweet, and still figuring out this whole "being a dog" thing—and it's pretty adorable to watch. Whether it's a new adventure, a cozy nap, or hanging out with her furry friends, she's just happy to be along for the ride.

We're hoping this smart, lovable girl finds the perfect family soon. Could it be yours? ❤️

Sometimes brewing keeps you humble.

The beer we had planned for this week's Thursty Thursday release didn't meet our standards, so we made the call not to release it. We'd rather dump a batch than serve something we're not proud of.

But we couldn't let Thursday go by without something special.

So the brewers dug into the cellar and put together a one-of-a-kind version of Higher Ground IPA: double dry-hopped with Cascade and El Dorado for an extra punch of citrus, tropical fruit, and hop aroma.

The catch? There's only one keg.

We'll tap it this Thursday at 3 PM, and when it's gone, it's gone.

Question for our hopheads: if you could double dry-hop Higher Ground with any hop variety, what would you choose? 👇🍻
