Owned and operated by Wilbur Hochstettler, Country Products boasts of farm fresh produce grown without the use of pesticides and herbicides. Wilbur practices traditional Amish farming techniques which embrace more manual labor than mass production.

When it's maple syrup time in Michigan, it's the sweetest time of the year! For those who will only consume pure Michigan maple syrup, you know why you are coming to the Country Products booth at the Meridian Winter Farm Market this Saturday. For those who usually buy products that are "maple flavored" syrup, and have never tried pure Michigan maple syrup, you will not believe the taste difference. You really need to stop by and see us this Saturday! Pure maple syrup extracted and produced by local maple syrup producers is so much more healthy because there is nothing added (sugars, corn syrups, etc), it's just plain sap from maple trees that has been cooked down to remove the excess water, and what remains is sweet maple bliss! Though it is only Tuesday, and the Meridian Winter Market isn't open until Saturday, I wanted to share with all of you that I will have a fresh batch of bacon while it lasts. You will want to come by as early as possible as we tend to sell out quickly. However you decide to prepare your bacon (in a soup, on a sandwich, or hey, even as a table centerpiece for the upcoming Super Bowl game), that is up to you. The bacon flower arrangement is pretty cool! Who knows, it might even get you out of the "doghouse" with your loved one? Just sayin'!

Yep! It's time for another winter market day at the Meridian Mall. Stop by the Country Products booth and pick-up fresh eggs, great healthy meats and cheese, and other winter produce. Fresh chicken this Saturday!!!! Stop by the Meridian Winter Market on Saturday at the Meridian Mall in Okemos. The market will be located in the JC Penny wing. With everything that you need to do to get ready for the holidays, grab a chicken in the morning, put it in a roster, and have a great meal for dinner. Nothing tastes better than fresh free range chicken!
