Cotton candy skies and Mauritson Family W**ery 🫶🏼🍷

Clay Mauritson joined us for a lovely week in the Carolina’s! Clay is a sixth generation grape grower in Sonoma County and uses his family vineyards to create incredible w**es.

The Mauritson label represents w**es coming from Dry Creek Valley and the Sonoma Coast. While the Rockpile w**es come exclusively from the Rockpile AVA, sitting above the fog line at 800+ feet. Finally, the Loam Cabernet Sauvignon is single varietal, single soil w**e created from the Rockpile vineyards as well.

These reds are perfect for crisp fall nights. Celebrate spooky season with a bottle this weekend 🍂

A crowd favorite: Abuelo Cayo Tempranillo Blanco✨

Bodegas Quiroga de Pablo has been growing grapes and making w**e in their estate bodega since 1850. Their original underground cellar is still used today to age their w**es.

Tempranillo Blanco is a rare grape and is a naturally occurring white mutation of the red Tempranillo that we know and love. After years of experimenting, the family finally found a vineyard suitable for Tempranillo Blanco to thrive in Rioja, Alta.

This medium-bodied white is not only delicious, but is also a conversation starter for holiday gatherings. Try it, you won’t be disappointed 😉🥂

Exploring the versatility of Alvarinho at VINEVINU 🫶🏼

VineVinu was created by father-son duo, Luis and Manuel in 2024. Luis is a well known Portuguese w**emaker with over thirty years of experience. Manuel recently graduated with a degree in Enology and Viticulture, representing a new generation of w**emakers.

Together they are discovering the versatility of the Alvarinho grape, creating innovative sparkling w**es and showcasing delicious blends from the Vinho Verde region.

It’s time for harvest at Quinta das Arcas 🍇 🥂

After years of simply growing grapes, Quinta das Arcas was founded in 1985. Antonio’s mission has remained the same - to produce high quality w**es while focusing on sustainability. The Monteiro Family is now one of the top w**e producers and viticulturists in the Vinho Verde region.

🌱 The Loureiro grape plays a key role in creating the bright, high acid, white w**es derived from the region of Vinho Verde.

How we feel about having Ca’ Furlan Prosecco in the building!!👏🍾🎉🤪

Alessandro Furlan is the w**emaker for Ca’ Furlan and sources all the fruit from the best vineyards in the Prosecco DOC.

The Ca’ Furlan w**es are named in honor of the women of the Furlan and Trivinia families. Prosecco Cuvee Beatrice is named after Alessandro’s daughter. Moscato Cuvee Adriana is for Alessandro’s wife and Prosecco Rosé Cuvee Mariana is a Trivinia family name.

Meyerpalooza in the mountains this week!⛰️🍷

Meyer Family Cellars was founded in 1987 by Justin Meyer who was also a co-founder of Silver Oak.

From an early age Matt knew he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. After gaining experience on vineyards in Australia, New Zealand and Oregon, Matt obtained a Masters in Viticulture from the University of California, Davis. Matt and Karen Meyer now make w**e together for Meyer Family Cellars and live close by with their 3 kids.

Reilly Keenan in the house!!🍷👏

Keenan was founded in 1974 by Reilly’s grandfather, Robert Keenan. Robert originally purchased 180 acres in the Spring Mountain District at an elevation of 1700 feet. When Michael took over in 1998, he slowly replanted many acres and refined their w**emaking process. Now they are solar powered and every acre is sustainably farmed, earning them recognition as a ‘green w**ery’.

Each Keenan w**e is an expression of pure varietal flavor from their distinctive mountain terroir. Known for creating small lot w**es with concentrated flavor and superb aging ability.

If you didn’t get an opportunity to see Reilly this time around, don’t worry he’s planning on coming back next Spring!😋

W**emaker and founder, Patrick Kelley, was in the market with us this week to launch Cavaletti Vineyards !!

109 miles of terroir: Patrick harvests from various vineyard sites each vintage in order to work with a wide range of varietals. From coast to canyon, within 109 miles from their w**ery. Each vintage is guided by Mother Nature instead of a set recipe, allowing Patrick’s creativity to truly shine.

1500 case production - plus, we are the only states (outside of California) to have Cavaletti on the shelves! Whoop whoop!🎉

Also, special shoutout to The Teal Turnip for hosting an amazing w**e dinner last night. Taylor’s food pairings are always top notch and deliciously unique!
