The other night we went to Suffolk Punch Brewery for the Kiwanis party to watch the final results for the Coolest Dog in Charlotte contest come in. The contest raised almost $37,000 for literacy programs for kids! What a fun fundraiser!

Several thousand dollars came in the last couple of minutes. Ava got 4th place in number of dollars raised, but FIRST in number of voters! She will have a small picture on the beer can.

We won a year membership to Skiptown, Dennis won a dog mat made of Tshirts that he gave her. She won the Coolest Dog in Cresswind (our development), and Mark Poeppleman brought $50 in car wash cards!

Thank you to all the donors! I have a little surprise for you! I have most of your addresses already, but if you think I don’t, send it to me! And yes, I will buy a bunch of beer! Come over and have a cold one with us!
