How cool is this?? WBTV was kind enough to feature our lemonade stand at Saturday’s market! So far, we’ve raised more than $250 to support Foster Village Charlotte! We’d like to give our greatest thanks to all who’ve donated AND to the two hardest working lemonade salespeople EVER! Ivy and Luna understood the assignment and poured icy cold lemonade all morning. Great thanks to these adorable ladies and their parents ❤️ If you missed out on this weekend’s fundraiser, you can still donate! 🍋 We’re so excited to be a part of this event this Saturday! Small City Farm will be hosting a lemonade stand from 9am-1pm to benefit Foster Village Charlotte. FVC creates a connection with dignity for children and families experiencing foster care by meeting urgent needs, providing educational and emotional support, and advocating as a collective community voice for children.

Everybody has an “off” day every once in a while 😆 Kim “messed up” the cream biscuits this morning. They taste exactly the same but the dough is a “little flaky”. Being the perfectionist she is, she thinks they’re not sellable. Being the person who likes to eat that I am, I considered telling her we shouldn’t sell them. But I can’t lie, they’re just as devine tasting as usual! So they’re only $1, and I can still guarantee they’re going to sell out fast! Our farm stand is open this morning from 9am-1pm. All sorts of fresh produce, honey, jams, and eggs! 1401 Auten Road, see you soon!

Barn quilts are up! My friend Sloane & I started this project at the end of February, when everything was a little grey. The flowers that we grow here served as our color inspiration!
