🗓️ WOW — What a way to kick off National Small Business Month!

What an incredible full circle moment for The Dessert Destination!

We are truly honored and deeply grateful to have been chosen to cater the reception for the grand opening of the Mecklenburg County Business Development & Inclusion (BDI) new office space, May 1st. New office location -the Judge Johnson Building.

This opportunity meant so much more than simply providing a dessert and small bite. It was a powerful reminder of what it looks like to be seen, supported, and celebrated—especially by the county you call home.

To have the support of Mecklenburg County, where I live, work, and serve, is both humbling and inspiring. The genuine, intentional support shown by the BDI team, led by the phenomenal Jamila Davis, continues to make a meaningful difference—not just for my business, but for so many other small and minority-owned businesses like mine.

Their authenticity, commitment, and unwavering advocacy are what keep entrepreneurs like me going.
