Poplar Ridge Farm, LLC Organic Produce/Flower/ Herb farm since 1995. Beginning January 2019 ,Poplar Ridge Farm will close its public hours.

We will remain organic stewards of the land and offer surplus to in need food banks. For 20 years we have been an educationally based farm operation because our owner is a teacher, writer and consultant in the field of health,sports, dance and physical therapy since 1979. We have accepted culinary, hospitality, environmental science and agricultural interns from many schools. Learning to farm was

a dream and natural extension of years of study on diet and health for the weekend athlete and the professional. We focus primarily on vegetarian and vegan diets but include partnering with organic dairy and poultry farmers. Our goal has been to be a self sustaining farm for our family and offer a CSA for community members. Our farm has served hundreds of families since 1995.

Poplar Ridge Farm is now farming in beautiful California! We are offering much of our work to charities and locals that wish to learn about farming. Loving every minute of sharing our 40 plus years of knowledge about farming, nutrition, health, wellness and fitness.

Hello dear farm friends! Poplar Ridge Farm has still maintained its certified organic soil standards. 2021 will bring changes. Our on farm market stand and CSA has been closed. All that we grow in 2021 will be offered to local charitable groups through gleaners. Our educational consulting and event planning will continue. Good news the Sweet Potatoes and the Jerusalem Artichokes all made it through the Hurricane Florence floods and they are beautiful!
They will be on sale beginning this Wed 1-5 and Sat 8-1 and every week until sold out.

The flood waters have reached 5 ft in two of our fields and getting higher. Horses have been evacuated to high ground and any crops we could get to have been harvested early. There will be tremendous loss and days more before we can see the damage. Never seen anything like this!
