Vertical Drainage ✔️

Proper drainage is critical to creating a riding arena that performs well in all conditions and stands the test of time.

📍Next up: fencing, kickboards, and installation of a second layer of geotextile fabric over the 57 stone. This step is essential to preventing dust and sand from contaminating the drainage layer below, ensuring the system continues to function as designed for years to come. We’ll be installing the geotextile fabric with 1-foot overlaps before hauling in the footing that will ultimately create the finished riding surface.

This layer is one of the keys to our drainage process, and Carter Hilliard will be sharing a more in-depth explanation of how it all works in an upcoming post.
