Out in the vineyard, our team is always one step ahead of Mother Nature.

Right now those white nets you see on the vines are doing important work. As the grapes ripen and their sugars rise, they become irresistible to birds looking for an easy meal. One flock can strip a row bare in a single afternoon.

Our vineyard crew installs the netting over each row to protect the fruit through the final stretch of ripening. It is a labor intensive process, but it is what allows us to bring in a clean, healthy harvest every year.

A small detail, but one that makes a big difference in the glass.
