a beautiful day spent celebrating my great Aunt Kay’s 100th birthday 🎉

after 99 years of birthday cakes, we needed the 100th to be the most special 🫶 elegant in design, with all the best flavors. chocolate cake with chocolate mousse for one tier (her favorite), lemon cake with blueberry jam for another and lastly carrot with cream cheese filling. frosted and decorated in Italian cream.

so many people who love her gathered into one space from all over the US! even the mayor stopped by to gift her a key to the city 🔑💛

and of course cutting the cake was left to the professionals, so I could make sure she got the best slice 💙
