It was our last day of picking too. We're CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. Thank you to everyone who came out or supported us from afar. Hope to see you all again next year!

Our littlest grandaughter Macy got her first try at berry picking and she loved the taste of Chassell strawberries!

You can have that same experience too - we'll open for self-picking tomorrow Sunday (July 11) at 8:00 am (until noon or picked out). $3.00/quart. It's end of the season picking so the berries are small but "berry" sweet!

We'll open for self-picking tomorrow (Thursday, July 9) beginning at 8:00am until noon (or picked out).
$3.00/quart

PSA: After you finish cleaning your own berries, don't forget to join us in Chassell to cut up berries for the Festival. We'll start at 5:00pm.

Meet the Yambu. This is a new variety we planted a couple rows of last summer.
It's an early variety so we've picked a few quarts of them so far. The Cavendish and Sparkle are also beginning to ripen, but so far but not the Jewel (which is most of our rows).

We did start to fill a few orders today. As the weather starts to warm up and more ripen we'll start calling those on our list.

Not sure about self-picking just yet. That's likely a couple weeks out. Try the Niemela Family Growers if you're itching to pick soon. 523-4362.

It was strawberry planting weekend on the farm. Our youngest workers mastered the planter pretty quickly. Born to be farmers!
