Beef customers: The good news: I'll have burger back in stock in two weeks. The bad news: there will be a significant raise in burger prices and a raise in stick prices. I've always tried to keep prices down for over 20 years to be affordable but with raised butchering and farm costs I've got over $6/lb into providing burger without all the grease or extra water while maintaining the flavor you are used to. This doesn't include the four hours in trucking and picking it up or wrangling these animals on a trailer or the burger I donate for causes. I realize it's tough for everyone but as hard as I've worked to try to keep this farm going I have to make a profit. That means I've got to get $7/lb for the burger. Steaks will stay the same in that $12-$14 range and if you haven't already spoken for a half I have to put that at $4/lb. I know it's not easy but I do thank all of you that have purchased for years even amis all the changes.
