Offering an annually evolving varietal of cage free heritage breed fowl including free ranging Indian Game Hen and Araucana/Ameraucana cross chicken eggs, Ark of Taste American Standard Bronze Turkey, Coturnix Quail and their finely speckled eggs and grass fed beef. Sewing, harvesting, grinding and storing our own feed grains, hay and straw on site, we utilize antique tractors and equipment and invite you to watch the process! After shelling the corn cobs we grind the remaining cobs into absorbent animal bedding material in the comfort of our custom designed barn, which we hand built from reclaimed materials from local farms. Grains we utilize for feed include corn, oats and black oil sunflower, which are blended with dried meal worms, pro-biotics, calcium and grit to suit species specific dietetic requirements. Our charges are also beloved pets, and are cared for with great respect and tenderness, providing as much freedom possible, yet assuring protection from respected predators in SE MN. In exchange for a comfortable life, they unknowingly provide us endless pleasure from daybreak's first rooster crow through the cackled announcements of hens birthing their daily egg.

Happy cows lend tender beef! Our Ayrshire are grass-fed, antibiotic and hormone-free, massaged daily, raised in a peaceful and uncrowded atmosphere amongst horses, two White Chinese geese, and five LGDs that keep the stressors of local vermin and predators at bay.

We will be processing five steers this fall. Follow us if you or yours may be interested.

In the meanwhile, if you're interested, follow us and start chatting with your friends, family, and co-workers to see who may want to split a steer (e.g. 1/2, 1/4).

We will connect you with our processor whom you will work directly choosing and splitting the cuts (e.g. hickory or apple smoked beef bacon, T-Bones, roasts, etc.) equally amongst you, depending on whether you're interested in only ground beef or a variety of cuts.
