Just showing off the boysšŸ„°. The two steers we are keeping for us n any friends or family that may want some meat. We will sale the little bull at some point. Heā€™ll be registered Akaushi. We love Wyatt, but have rented a registered angus these past two breeding season for our girlsā€¦.so not sure what to do with himšŸ˜….

Failed cranberry sourdough loaf treats šŸ˜…! I am still new to pigs and have gotten much more comfortable around Maple. She hasnā€™t been aggressive, Iā€™m just not familiar with their temperament. At first I thought their Mohawk was a warningā€¦.like hackles on a dog. But google says itā€™s a sign of happiness for pigsā€¦and now experience confirms that. I can pet on all the girlsā€¦.but Boog, the solid black male, wonā€™t let me pet him. I can touch, but he quickly runs off when I do. Iā€™ll get there thoughšŸ˜Š.

Strawberry had her baby!!ā¤ļø He has a beautiful colorā€¦.not sure what itā€™s called but itā€™s pretty. He is a La Mancha x Angora cross. Iā€™m curious to see if he produces fiber to spin. From what Iā€™ve read, itā€™s usually not that desirable on the first cross. If we get a female, Iā€™ll breed back to daddy to get more of an angora percentage.
