The girls had a pretty good Cattlemen’s Congress. Cierra had the 4th overall Market Steer with an IGWT, Cricket won class 2 of the prospects with a HIA x Maternal Made and Claire was 2nd in class 5 with her How Great Thou Art. Cierra had 3rd overall steer with her Res Cross,
Bracket Ridling Champion Angus (raised by Brelan Brookshire, GA), Cierra had Champion Chi (forgot to get a picture), Rance McEntire Charolais class winner, Cricket Res Champion Limousin, Rance Ridling class winner with a Shorthorn, Claire Res Champion Simmental, Timber Mefford won her class with her Cross.

The OJCA show was a good one all the way around for us! Good weather, great kids and great outcomes. Timber Mefford had the Grand prospect steer with her cross, Cierra was third overall with her Chi and Cricket had the champion Limousin prospect. All raised and sold by us. Claire had Grand Progress steer with her cross raised by Simon Cattle.

Congratulations to Claire Collins, she had the champion angus steer at OYE, Tenley Mefford had the reserve Limousin, Houston Dixon won his crossbred class and Cierra and Timber with crosses made the sale. The outcome is not always what we want it to be for our customers, life always has its highs and its lows. At least we are all in it together! All we know is we are ready to get the next set in the barn!
