Your community will find you
They say “a picture is worth a thousand words,” and this one truly speaks volumes. ❤️
We’ve shared all the AMAZING parts of Saturday, but we haven’t talked much about the stressful start to our morning… and whew, it was definitely one we’ll never forget! 😅
After we got unloaded and unpacked, we realized our gas wasn’t working. 😩 What should’ve been our busiest breakfast hours quickly turned into almost two hours of trying everything we could think of to get things going. We messed with it, checked everything, tried again… and eventually we were at the point where we simply didn’t know what else to do.
Then Sara Turney with Hearthara found out what was happening and came running over. I’ll never forget her saying:
“Guys, we WILL figure this out. There are plenty of chefs here who will help, and we WILL get it going!”
And she meant it. 🥹❤️
Within moments, Freaky Funnels LLC and The Gravel Road Grill were at our trailer, going over everything they possibly could to help us figure it out. What makes this picture so special is that they had their OWN trailers to get ready. They had their own businesses to worry about. But instead, they stopped what they were doing to help us.
That meant more than they probably even realize. 🫶🏽🫶🏻
Being the new kids on the block, experiencing our very first festival, and already nervous enough as it was 😂… that moment showed us exactly what being part of a community is supposed to look like.
We will forever be thankful for each of you. Thank you for showing up, jumping in, encouraging us, and refusing to let us give up on that morning.
Saturday was about so much more than SELLING OUT. It was about the people we met, the lessons we learned, and the people who showed us that sometimes your “competition” can also be the ones standing beside you helping you succeed. ❤️
We truly thank you all, and we look forward to MANY more events together!
The Tennessee Drifter thank you for all your kind words and wisdom as well. There was another very kind lady two trailers down from us (black trailer with led lights on the back that was so helpful as well but I can’t remember her name-I’m so sorry)
This picture? Definitely worth a thousand words. 🥹
