Attention Hunters. Please do not just show up with your deer thinking we will automatically take it. We are still limiting what we take and have hanging in our coolers so we can ensure our staff can handle it. Our hours are still limited too so you have to call to see what our drop off times are.

There is currently no waiting list for dropping off meat to be made into products.

our downstairs freezer is back up and running and we are emptying the upstairs freezer. with that said we can do pickups tomorrow. if you want to pick up tomorrow we are working on extending the hours til 4 tomorrow to help get some orders out. chicken and burger shares can be picked up. remember once we call you to pick up chicken you have 3 days or we move into the next customer

Morning Halloween Peeps...

This gloomy day has me feeling drained and tired for sure. Last few days I haven't felt well but been plucking away behind the scenes.

Just submitted a 10 page application to acquire insurance for this event and fingers and spider webbs crossed it doesn't come in over $2,000 for our Halloween Festival.

This event is more than just building scenes. A ton of behind the scene stuff occurs that I deal with myself in between running our family businesses. We have to prepare for emergencies, parking, volunteers for bounce house, tents, etc. So as I mentioned yesterday if I miss sponsors/details please let me know so I can correct them...

We received a few emails yesterday when we would be open to the public to come through. The answer is simple. We aren't a business. We are small group of friends that build this and work around our jobs and family time. So the short answer is we are only obligated to the Oct 17th commitment. This is the day we put on for the community that's backed with sponsors to make it affordable. We had high hopes that taking off a year that we could muscle up more volunteers to help us out but unfortunately we are seeing the opposite. :( The fate of local community events is in the hands of the community itself actually. Hoping in the new few weeks we are going to see more helping hands get everything done so we aren't working til the last day...

There has been some confusion about sales.

When we post that we have burger shares/chicken sales it's not a perpetual sale and we always have it.

Just like all meat deals we buy them and once they are gone they are gone.

Unfortunately we have many new employees and we are trying to get them up to speed with things. We are very thankful for them.

So when you see a sale that's the price and what is available at the moment not a month later.

I wish we could always have deals but it doesn't work that way...

We are working on working on a chicken breast deal but I need to secure it first...

Once you place a order and we call you we give you 3 days to pick up or its up for grabs from the next person.

If you have called and someone put you on a list even when we didn't have a sale please call the store and verify your still looking and we will try to take care of you.

Pig update..
We are suppose to be getting the pigs we sold this Sunday and we will be slaughtering them right off and reaching out to customers that gave deposits. we will reach out for cutting directions.

PIG UPDATE
Unfortunately I still don't have a update about our pigs we were suppose to get in July.

I am going to try to figure it out this week and then we will mail all deposits back in full.

I apologize unfortunately this is out of my control and the order was put in on time and everything was lined up from my end.

Attention Hunters/Farmers..

September is here unfortunately and we are receiving a lot of phone calls to book animals for the fall. Unfortunately most folks book their animals well in advance and our schedule is pretty packed.

With a skilled labor shortage we are being more cautious what we book and can handle. So your lack of planning shouldn't be our issue for sure.

If you booked a animal and no longer have it or need a appointment please call and cancel.

Deer season is coming fast as well. We do not know our plans yet on cutting deer as we are looking for help. Might just be the luck of the draw if we can cut them up or not.

Times have changed in this World and it's really changed for us..

If you have trim to be made into products now is a perfect time to drop it off.

I realize everyone keeps calling me about pigs. I don't have a answer yet to slaughter date. I'm trying to get answers but currently don't have any. Deposits are in my possession so no one will loose any money.
