Today is the day.... Rain Or Shine the Day will go on.. DOZER DAYS....

Unfortunately because off all the costs involved to move the equipment/find the manpower it's impossible to have a rain date.

We managed last year to deal with the rain and it looks like we will again this year..

This is one local event you don't want to miss. There is nothing like it in the area and it only happens once a year.
A ton of work goes into this event. The Food Dudes have a full day of prep work just to be able to serve our patrons all day alone.. And we were up at 4 am heating up gravy and our other fan favorites...

Remember to support local events on the rainy days even more so than the Sunny days.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

June 2026 our small Ma & Pop store will hit 45 years...

With that being said we are forced to make changes. We have fought the good fight but times are tough. We can no longer compete with Dollar Generals, Walmart deliveries and all the other services that evolve over time.. People shop different, we can't be competitive with many things.

Unfortunately I am finally admitting it's too much for me to continue this lifestyle of working non-stop. It's unfortunate but my parents being older our team of 3 turned into a Team of ME... It's too much. It's not longer a family business.

Changes are being made behind the scene to move forward but with rising insurance costs, lack of labor, utilities rates effective June 1st we will no Longer be Open on Monday's for the Store...

Store hours.

Effective June 1st, 2026

Monday- Closed
Tuesday 6 am until 7 pm
Wednesday 6 am until 7pm
Thursday 6 am until 7 pm
Friday 6 am until 7 pm
Saturday 8 am until 7 pm
Sunday 9 am until 6pm

Meat Plant Hours
Monday-Closed to public
Tuesday 8 until 1 pm
Wednesday-Closed to the public
Thursday-8 until 1 pm
Friday-8 til noon (Moving forward might be be appointment only)
Saturday-8 til noon

We are looking to fill some gaps in the store. Looking for responsible person over the age of 18. If your looking for 25 to 40 hours days, nights, weekend please reach out to me.

We will also be looking for help for the meat plant for seasonal help. Interested in learning how to cut? Let me know.

This does not affect the catering or food truck schedules.

We are thankful for the employees we have and the ones that have moved on but still willing to help us out when needed.

Attention Customers..

We are going to be changing our hours for drop offs and picks so we know we can cover them. We will post when we figure them out. I would assume it will be Tues 8 to noon, Thurs to noon, Fri 8 to noon and sat 8 to noon.

We are always looking at what products we don't make a lot of and going to temporary stop making the slower products. Unfortunately with staffing issues all the diversity is making it very hard for us to complete weekly production orders.

Believe me I know our hours aren't great but I am trying my hardest to keep everything moving the best I can with our limited staff.

Fall slaughters are pretty full. We will not be sliding in or taking any last minute animals as we will be taking on less in general. So don't want to book appointments.

I really appreciate the staff we have here. It's not easy because we are covering so much but I truly appreciate it.
