POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED.

We are hiring! We have a part-time position for a grounds person to help maintain our lawns about the farm. 10 to 15 hours a week mowing lawns and trimming around buildings. Direct message to Farm page or Tony at 518-572-7182.

We will be open Saturday morning 8am to noon with our freezers restocked! Check out our price list of high quality beef. All our beef is raised on our farm and processed at the peak of maturity. Healthy animals produce great beef, all at competitive prices. As always we thank you for your business!

Although we love our beef herd, our primary business is wholesale dairy. It all starts here. We are in our 18th year of group housing and automatic calf feeders. Not that we haven’t had challenges time to time with this system, as with any, it continues to evolve into a labor saving way to produce quality replacements. Calves are backgrounded for 12 to 14 days outside in individual hutches and then introduced into a group setting and eat, drink, sleep and nurse whenever they feel like it. A healthy weaned calf is a pretty sure way to having healthy milk cow in 24 months

Just an update for all our customers, we have beef going to the processor this week. We will reopen on Saturday, May 9 and will be fully stocked for your summer grilling needs. As always we thank you for your business. See you in May 9th!

Rusty Creek Farm is looking for a reliable person to join our shop and crop team full time.

Responsibilities include:

-Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings.

-Operate farm equipment and trucks associated with crop work and manure management.

-Relief work for other team members when needed.

CDL is a plus, but not required. Pay based on experience.
