Rusty Creek Farm, LLC Rusty Creek Partnership was founded in 1993 by father and son, Paul and Tony LaPierre. In 1998, Rusty Creek Farm, LLC was created.

Founded in the 1850s, Rusty Creek Farm is a six generation Holestein dairy farm located in the Champlain Valley. The farm was originally ran by the Bocare family until the 1960s, when Paul LaPierre married into the family and began running the farm shortly after. Today, the farm is owned and operated by Tony, Paul’s son, and his son, Alec. The farm currently houses about 500 lactating cows and an additional 425 youngstock. The farm also markets Angus Beef, from there 70 cow beef herd for wholesale or retail. The beef graze in the summer and keep down surrounding untillable land and are housed with there dairy herd mates in the barns during the winter. Rusty Creek also crops about 1250 acres consisting of corn, alfalfa, and grasses.

It’s been a great summer for the pastures. Lots of regrowth with lots of grass with little to no supplemental feed to maintain body condition. We just reloaded our freezers for the upcoming Labor Day weekend! It’s supposed to be another beautiful weekend so why don’t you get some locally sourced great tasting beef for end of the grilling season.

We will be open tomorrow from 8 AM to noon. Although we are limited on some of our premium steaks, we have plenty of ground beef,roasts, and beef sandwich steak! Our sweet corn is also ready and can be picked up for $6 dollars a Baker’s dozen or $3.50 for 6 ears! Take advantage of the beautiful weekend and stop on by for some fresh local produce and beef! One of our best sellers is our ground beef! Why is that? Well I’ll tell you! Not only does it taste great, it is also whole muscle ground beef from one animal and not trimmings from a whole bunch of animals mixed together. When you buy our ground beef pack, you get 10 pounds and one additional pound for free. That puts your cost at $6.40 a pound for locally sourced great tasting beef! Tis the season to be canning amongst all the rest!! The over abundance goes into dilly beans and the smell from loaves of zucchini bread fill the kitchen air. Sweet corn has tasseled and we had our first tomato and cucumbers of the season with dinner. Love this time of year!!

Nothing like a ribeye on a beautiful Friday night! Supposed to be a beautiful weekend if you’re looking for your beef needs. We have some tender sirloin steak, stew meat for kebabs,whole muscle ground beef (not trimmings) for smash burgers, and even short ribs or a sirloin tip roast to put on the smoker!
