WHAT AN INCREDIBLE YEAR IN THE LONGHORN INDUSTRY! 🏆❤️
As our 2026 show season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible people who make this industry and these events possible.
To every event host, organizer, sponsor, judge, ring steward, announcer, photographer, back crew member, volunteer, and everyone working behind the scenes — THANK YOU! We know the countless hours, long days, sleepless nights, planning, preparation, and dedication that go into making these events successful. So much of that hard work happens long before the first trailer arrives and continues long after the last one leaves. Please know that your efforts do not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
To everyone involved with the NLFR, TLBAA, and ITLA, thank you for creating opportunities for breeders to showcase their programs, celebrate their accomplishments, and continue pushing this incredible breed forward. Your commitment to the Longhorn industry is what makes all of this possible.
To the sponsors, thank you for investing in these events and believing in the future of our industry. To the judges, thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience, and time. To our fellow competitors, thank you for bringing your best to the ring. The quality of cattle we’ve had the privilege of competing alongside this year has been nothing short of impressive. Great competition doesn’t just make winning more meaningful; it challenges all of us to become better breeders.
And to the breeders who have encouraged us, mentored us, answered our questions, offered advice, lent a helping hand, and celebrated our successes as if they were their own — you have no idea how much you mean to us. As relatively new breeders, we are still learning, growing, and finding our place in this industry. Having experienced breeders willing to share their knowledge rather than guard it has been one of the greatest blessings of this journey.
This year has taken us thousands of miles across the country, introduced us to some truly remarkable people, strengthened friendships, and given us memories we will carry for a lifetime. We’ve celebrated victories, learned from challenges, and witnessed firsthand the passion and dedication that make the Texas Longhorn community so special.
While the buckles, banners, awards, and accomplishments are exciting, the people we’ve met and the relationships we’ve built are worth more than anything we could ever bring home from the show ring.
We are incredibly grateful to be a small part of something so much bigger than ourselves. We hope we can continue to give back to this industry, encourage the next generation of breeders, and extend the same kindness and support that has been shown to us.
From all of us at Soda Springs Longhorns and the Benelli Legacy Partners, THANK YOU for an unforgettable 2026 season!
Here’s to the people behind the scenes, the friendships outside the ring, the competition inside it, and a shared passion for raising exceptional Texas Longhorn cattle.
The cattle bring us together, but the people make it unforgettable. ❤️🐂
