🎀 Welcome to the herd, little one! 🎀

The hostage has finally been released… and MW2 Coconut’s baby watch saga has officially come to an end!

After keeping us on her schedule (because let’s be honest, Coconut could not have cared less about ours), she delivered a beautiful little heifer who was absolutely worth the wait.

This sweet girl has her mama’s adorable brindle nose, a striking solid white side, and a gorgeous brown patch on the other. She already reminds us so much of her sire, MHL Jamin Bullwinkle, at the same age, and we cannot wait to watch her grow and see how her colors continue to change.

Her dam, MW2 Coconut (MW Epic × Peanut 50), brings exceptional horn genetics, measuring an impressive 76.75” TTT at just under 4 years old. Her sire, MHL Jamin Bullwinkle, was an outstanding 75.125” TTT at only 2 years old. With horn genetics like these on both sides, this little girl’s future is incredibly exciting.

Our hearts are full as we welcome this beautiful, healthy little heifer to the Soda Springs Longhorns family! 💕

This special girl is the result of a cross we have been eagerly anticipating & bred by Pace Cattle Company — PCC Cactus Jack 🏆🌵 × PCC Vintage Doll.

She carries a pedigree stacked with some of the most influential genetics in the Texas Longhorn breed. From PCC Cactus Jack’s exceptional horn genetics, proven conformation, and eye-catching style, to PCC Vintage Doll’s elegance, maternal strength, and beautiful black-and-white coloring, this little lady has a foundation built for the future.

The first thing we noticed was her striking color, sweet expression, and confident little personality. It is amazing to look at a newborn calf and realize that generations of thoughtful breeding, superior genetics, and years of planning are wrapped up in one tiny package.

🎉Happy 2nd Birthday🎉

TTT as of today….. 75 1/8

MHL Jamin Bullwinkle is our partner bull with Mile High Longhorns and Schlecht Longhorns. We are incredibly proud of this guy! He has matured so much this last year and is now in Nebraska getting to live his best life with his new ladies. We can’t wait to have him back in Oklahoma and to see what he produces for our partners.

He loves head scratches, to be brushed and licks like a puppy. He was born solid white where you see all his spots now. He is going to produce some beautiful calves for all of us.

Oh, his first calf a heifer was born yesterday! Happy Birthday Winkie you are a daddy!

🚨Baby Watch: Day Who Even Knows 🚨

Meanwhile, MW2 Coconut is completely unbothered.

While we’re over here checking daily, watching for signs, and analyzing every move she makes, Coconut is out in the pasture acting like she doesn’t have a job to do. 😆

This beautiful daughter of MW Epic x Peanut 50 has already proven herself with a pedigree packed full of proven horn genetics and is currently measuring over 76” TTT. Now we’re just waiting on her next masterpiece to arrive.

Coconut could care less about our schedule, our lack of sleep, or our constant pasture patrols. She’ll have that calf exactly when she’s good and ready.

Partners in More Than Cattle 🖤🤍

One of the greatest blessings in this Longhorn journey has been the friendships we’ve made along the way. We are incredibly thankful for our partnership on PCC Diablo with Katie and Keith Davis of 411 Longhorns. What started as a shared interest in an exceptional bull has grown into a friendship we truly value.

Diablo continues to impress us, not only with how much he has matured and developed over time, but also with the gentle nature and calm disposition he passes on to those around him. For a bull of his size and presence, his temperament is something special. He’s the kind that reminds you why disposition matters just as much as pedigree and horn.

Watching him grow into the impressive herd sire he is today has been exciting, and it’s even more rewarding knowing he’s making an impact breeding in Tennessee. We can’t wait to see the calves he leaves behind and the influence he’ll have for years to come.
