🚀 THE ULTIMATE CARCASS UPGRADE: Why Your SimAngus Herd Needs a Romagnola Bull 🚀Attention beef producers! 💥 Looking to pack on massive muscle and maximize your carcass value WITHOUT sacrificing meat quality? If you are running SimAngus cows, introducing Romagnola genetics is the ultimate shortcut to premium, heavy-yielding calves. Here is why this cross is a total game-changer for your bottom line:🧬 The Genetic Tenderness BlueprintRomagnola cattle carry a highly active calpain enzyme system. This genetic trait naturally breaks down muscle fibers post-harvest. The result? Exceptionally tender, highly palatable beef that consumers crave—completely free of growth hormones.🥩 Explosive Muscling & YieldSimAngus gives you incredible maternal traits and growth. Toss a Romagnola bull into the mix, and you unlock elite muscling. Expect massive ribeye areas, high dressing percentages, and heavy weaning weights that buyers fight over.🌍 Hardiness & Feed EfficiencyRomagnolas are built to thrive on rough terrain and convert low-quality forage into high-value beef. Their calves inherit that bulletproof efficiency, keeping your input costs down and your profits up.Take your SimAngus herd to the absolute next level. Heavy weaning weights, uniform market appeal, and unbeatable tenderness all wrapped into one powerful cross. 📈

Cattle Highlight Pt 10

Meet Pearl 🫶

Pearl was born 5/21/2021, is a special girl for us here at Jehovah Jireh Ranch. She first entered the scene at 3 days old back in 2021 when my mom picked her up for her ranch. Pearl came to JJ Ranch on 11/22/2023 bred to a black angus bull for 1st calf.

She delivered a beautiful Red Bull calf on 8/2/24. We named him “Augustine” AKA “Auggie” and he was traded at weaning to Chip in the trade that secured “7” (cattle highlight pt 3) and “20” who I have not yet introduced.

Pearl was bred back to Buddy our Simmental Bull and delivered her 2nd calf, a red/white heifer calf on 12/19/2025 - We have named her “Macy” and she is being moved to the weaning pen with Heaven (cattle highlight pt 4) on Friday.

Maybe I’ll do a video with both of them in the weaning pen 🤔

Cattle Highlight Pt 9

Mrs. Weasley

Mrs. Weasley came to Jehovah Jireh Ranch from Clark’s crazy critters murdockclark and arrived 04/11/2025. She came already bred by Red, Patty’s Black Angus Bull.

She delivered her first calf with us on 05/29/2025. It was a little bull calf, we named him Petrie. Jacob chose his name because cause he wanted to name a cow after Robert Petrie from the Dick Van D**e show 🤣. He grew out nicely and was weaned and traded for (Brownie) a black heifer calf from our neighbor’s herd’s genetics.

Mrs. Weasley just had her first calf (a heifer), who is just a beautiful little red and white baby sired by Buddy our Simmental.

Cattle Highlight Pt 8

🐮Okie🐮

This is our craziest girl on the ranch, by A LOT!

Not sure which screws are loose or why but she came to us that way. Okie arrived at Jehovah Jireh Ranch on 10/31/2025 already bred. She delivered a muscular little bull calf (“Wiley”) on 04/23/2026. He is an extremely well built handsome boy and I am excited to watch him develop for the remainder of his time here at JJ Ranch!

This calf is an important time of weighing our options with Okie…Will she calm down now? Will she be even more crazy? Will her off spring be inherit her crazy? So far Wiley seems to be an incredible little dude with a great disposition…but we shall see…is it worth it to have her crazy???? Only time will tell…

Cattle highlight pt 6

💥Lucy 💥

Lucy is a Jehovah Jireh Ranch production. She is the second calf (1st heifer calf) from Rose and our big red Simmental Buddy 🥰 she is beautiful with lots of personality! She was the spunkiest baby yet! Running and jumping and carrying on from day 1.

Lucy and Max (our Romagnola Bull) have been best friends since she was born and the whole time she was at her mom’s side they were inseparable. Such a sweet girl.

Very excited to see what Lucy brings to our program! She is weaned now and is in with the other weaned heifers and moms waiting to calf.
