ne! Historic Gambrel Barn
The heart of Owl and Olive is our Historic Gambrel Barn. Built in 1936, the barn provides a beautiful and unique setting to celebrate your special day. Opening in 2021 the Owl and Olive Café is our home-base for hospitality, great food and drink. Intimate and inviting, wrapped in cedar with warm lighting, you may want to settle in for the long hall. Think simple thin crust Roman style pizza, panini, bruschetta, and an assortment of Mediterranean olives, cheeses and charcuterie. You get the idea. Now add the perfect selection of draft and bottled beer, cider, NW and Mediterranean wines, coffee, tea, and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages and you will not leave hungry (or thirsty). Located adjacent to the Café, the north patio provides outside space protected from the elements. In the coming years the climbing hydrangeas planted along the perimeter fence will provide privacy and color. South Courtyard and Fire Circle
Installed and landscaped in early spring 2020, the south courtyard and fire circle provide a wonderful gathering space for events big and small. We are growing an outside “room” surrounded by 18 Hornbeams with the goal of providing a unique space for intimate ceremonies or casual farm table dinners. End of night s’mores in the fire circle adds that extra touch to end a special day. Dahlia Garden
Owl and Olive’s Dahlia Garden provides a beautiful array of color just east of the café. If one dahlia makes you smile, think what hundreds will do for your mood! Maple Grove Ceremony Site
The Maple Grove Ceremony Site is located under old growth maple trees and is wrapped in a semi-circle of vine maples. Seating can be arranged in a variety of configurations depending on weather and number of guests. This site is usable year-round (weather allowing). Riverside Ceremony Site
The Riverside Ceremony Site is located right on the banks of the upper Chehalis River. This intimate space works well for any size ceremony. This site is not generally usable in the winter or when their is – or has been – heavy wet weather. Pasture and Woodland Settings
Depending on the time of year, one or more pastures may be available to provide outside areas for a variety of activities. Pasture, forest, river and hillside scenery provides the perfect backdrop for rustic and natural photographs.
