I have a bunch of chicken waterers available as well as quite a few feeders. The # 7 tank is $35, the two #5 tanks are $30 each, the three #3 tanks are $25 each. The small ones are $3 each and the galvanized feeders are $5 each. All of it needs a good rinse.

Hazel Wester purchased CH Dorsey-Lane QCC Verdigris from me early this spring. She sadly must disperse her herd and is looking for a placement for Verdigris who happens to be an exceptional milker. Sheā€™s also produced some exceptional daughters. If youā€™re interested in a lovely Toggenburg doe, give Hazel a shout. Iā€™d sure hate to see my girl end up at the sale barn. That would be a sad fate for such a sweetheart of a doe. I have no idea what condition sheā€™s in, my photo is CH Verdigris and her littermate sister CH Mississippi shown together two years ago.

I have 3 calf hutches available for $150 each. Iā€™ve had them a long time. Still in decent condition. I will have a few more as we reduce pens and pastures.
I also have a bunch of chicken equipment Iā€™m planning to sell. 3,5, & 7 gallon Little Giant waterers. A few smaller ones for chicks. I have a bunch of hanging and ground tin feeders and some for baby chicks. Itā€™s all pretty dusty from being stored away in the barn for several years. Iā€™ll be listing all of it for sale as soon as I can drag it all out and figure out whatā€™s here.

Melissa at Jackson Royal also gave my little beauty Dorsey-Lane MRCJ Vespa a wonderful home. Vespa scored VEVE 88 at her appraisal. I hope some of the other Moss-Ridge Calā€™s Journey daughters out there get scored. Heā€™s an absolutely stunning buck who put some really high quality daughters on the ground for me. He deserves some recognition. Thank you Melissa for taking such great care of my girls. I knew you would! šŸ™‚

Shout out to Melissa at Jacksonā€™s Royal Farm for going the extra mile with her lovely does and getting them appraised. My favorite Toggenburg doe, CH Dorsey-Lane QCC Showgirl scored EEEE 91. She looks absolutely stunning and very well cared for. I couldnā€™t be more relieved that my girl landed with such a wonderful caregiver! Thank you Melissa! Well done ladies!

I was able to hold onto just 4 doe kids this year. I keep reminding myself that if I get overwhelmed or overly worried I can find placements for them. We seem to be in a fairly good place with numbers, workload and financials at the moment. They are growing out wonderfully despite the fact that my heart is not 100% ā€œin the gameā€ right now. Spending time in the milk barn with the mamas brings me peace, so there is that. At any rate, from left to right they are Provocateur (Sam x Avant-Gard) Deja-Vu (Sam x Timeless) Queue E Two (Sam x Yass Queen) and Goose Feathers (Sam x Parlor Smoke). Yes, I have side views but looking at them this way is much more fun. šŸ˜‰

Not all of you know it isnā€™t just about goats on our small farmā€¦I also raise a lovely herd of stock cattle and provide market beef. Itā€™s calving season and Iā€™m enjoying every moment I can hanging out with the ladies in my pasture when Iā€™m not milking goats.
