If anyone is interested in some fresh chickens, I'm on my way now to the processor. I'll have fresh pasture raised chicken tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, August 26, 27 & 28. Then they go in the freezer.

A key thing in "one man farming" is to try to make things as efficient as possible, and hopefully doing so makes it easier. Like a watering system for a couple of hundred pullets. Might need to add one more drinker as they get bigger.
I was fortunate to have been gifted two of these 35 gallon tanks, and I sell the Plasson Drinker with my Alumi-Coops. Easy fill outside with a hose, clean setup inside.

We've had a bit of a population explosion at Old Brick Farm. The first batch of 150 Pekin ducklings are on the farm as well as the first batch of 100 Amberlink chicks, the next generation of egg layers.
Here are some pictures of the newbies, and the old girls too.
Week after next another 100 Amberlink chicks arrive. Yes, I'm getting serious about increasing the egg volume!
