Ok ok nature did not cooperate for the last day of U-pick which means I must do one more last day, but here’s hoping 3rd time is the charm. Comon out Friday for the final day (I really must turn my focus to affairs of selling the farm beyond this) I will honor the $20 per person special that I offered today. Please roam far from the shed to find the best and most abundant fruit. I am no longer stocking boces for you to take fruit home in so come prepared with your own. Say goodbye to Sweet Indigo as I sadly must do also. See you tomorrow!

I know I said the farm was closing down for the season on July 28th but due to the quantity of fruit in the field I will be open one more day with a special end of season offer. For $20 a person you may pick all you want during business hours tomorrow July 31st… otherwise $3.25 a pound. Bring your own containers to take your haul home! Enjoy the sweetness of the season.

This Friday, July 25 I’m running another big picker bulk special, $40 for up to 2 buckets (please record your lbs!) parties may combine. Nice quality fruit still in the patch and the deeper you go the more you will find. Open tomorrow 8-8. Happy picking !

So many breathtaking moments … (and good blueberries too)
Thank you to all my wonderful customers who share in the magic of this farm with me! Your support means so much 💙 I will miss seeing you and your names on the blueberry records for those I have not been fortunate enough to meet in person. There’s been many days I had to be off farm working my actual day job (no, blueberries do not pay all my bills) that I couldn’t be here with you. To all of you that bring a positive presence with you, thank you!

The past two days brought cooler temps and the loveliest picking conditions. That cool keeps the berries firm and scrumptious. Excellent picking right now especially the more distance you explore from the shed. There’s some absolutely loaded bushes with jumbo berries as the two mid season varieties here, Blue Ray and Bluecrop come on strong. Really glad my mom could visit during such great berrying.
There’s not a lot of picking season left sad to say…. Do not delay

I’ve got berries to offer you no matter your height! Come find some if you haven’t made a visit yet. The season is short and sweet 💙 Very grateful for all the family support this week. Aunt Rose and Uncle Tom made a special trip up from Maryland and were of great assistance. Thanks you two for all your love and effort! My sister, brother/sister in law and nieces, cousin and her kiddos all joined forces to knock out a variety of home and farm tasks. We picked berries for the Oxford farmers market and enjoyed many meals together with veggies from our friends at . Sharing the the magic of this farm with family, nourishing our bodies with food from the community, and reciprocally serving community with homegrown food are the deep joys I reveled in this week.
