There are hard days in this business. Losing baby goats is the worst. Makes me question if the emotional toil of it all is worth it. Then there are these moments that rejuvenate me and remind me why the sleepless nights, heartache, and work is worth it. Raising farm kids, who are learning to appreciate life in a new way, the frailty of it, and can rejoice in God and His love for us, His goodness to us, because despite the hardship-
we have hope that the dealth we experience in this life will one day come to an end - thankful for the sacrifice of Christ for those who believe.

Our first kids have arrived, after a difficult week battling pregnancy toxemia, a set of healthy quads. The human kids are excited to have their first bottle babies. Rue is keeping watch, and making sure the new visitors don’t get too comfortable in her bed.
