No trending audio, just happy cows! The boys are hard at work and nearly finished fencing the new pasture. For now, some temporary wire gives the ladies access to some fresh fall greens! Already seeing a difference in the forage quality and w**d density after grazing last year.

🎡Bangor State Fair🎡

Dan and Sophia had a blast up in Bangor ME last week. The Harmony Meadows and Genesis cattle had a good showing, with Acadia taking home Reserve beltie honors and Bertha 4th overall Jackpot. It was great to see friends and get back into the swing of things, lots to look forward to with the rest of the season. Thanks to the Carons for putting on such a great event!

🐮☀️It may be a dry summer but the ladies are fat and happy! We feel our herd has become more consistent in phenotype and quality then ever, we love walking out in the pasture and admiring everybody. Lots of young heifers with potential in this group. Look for our newest baby who is nearing a month old when you drive by!

The monarchs are out and the ladies are back up top! Thankful for the first true rain we have gotten in over a month and a gorgeous day to follow 🦋☀️

The grazing ladies might disappear for a few days onto different pasture. The’ll be back towards the end of June, but don’t forget to stop and say hi to the mommas and babies in the top pasture!

🍑Big Bertha🍑
Why don’t we creep feed heavy? It’s not for everyone, but it lets us see the high-performing feed efficient calves like Bertha rise to the top. She may not be the freakiest, but she’s the kind who will put steaks on your table! Purebred sim, 6 months old 💪🏻 It’s getting harder to tell which show cattle are truly “fresh” or “green” vs simply poor-doing.

As show season ramps up, we’d like to thank our customers from last year for their support and trust in our program! There is something special about seeing your genetics succeed in the hands of others. It’s less about the banners earned and more about the knowledge and memories gained along the way. That's a wrap! After 15 seasons, this was our final Fryeburg YOUTH show! Ashlyn Romani (aka Show Princess) was on the halter, and Sophia Romani and Dan Romani worked hard behind the scenes. Nana Debbie Lingwood came to watch and support! Camper Mom Kirsten Lingwood Romani held down the fort. Congrats to HMF Acadia, she won the Beltie Bred & Owned category. Special thanks to Daniel Romani for taking care of the farm at home ❤️
