Today I completed my first official custom cake order and I’m honestly so proud of myself.
I won’t lie I was nervous, excited, and a little shaky making this cake. There were moments I wondered if I was going to mess it up, but I kept going, trusted the process, and it all came together.
Baking this reminded me why I started Puff Puff Pastry in the first place. I genuinely love creating desserts and seeing an idea turn into something real. Huge thank you to my first customer for trusting me with Emily’s birthday cake. 🍓🎂
This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where this journey goes.

Hi. I’m the human behind Puff Puff Pastry (Cheyanne). I make custom cakes locally in Thayer MO, and they’re made fresh to order, not pre-frosted three days ago and praying for survival.

This week I made a vanilla cake with a strawberry swirl, cream cheese frosting, and fresh strawberries on top and it honestly smelled like spring walked into my kitchen.

I’m not a big factory bakery. I’m a small local baker who actually cares about flavor, texture, and making something that looks cute AND tastes good.
