This is our why. The look on Olivia’s (Pam) face is just pure joy as she got her first glimpse of Sugar, her future diabetic alert dog 🫶🏻 We love her choice of name for her D.A.D because “sugar” is often associated with the myth that diabetics cannot have sugar/sweets. Type 1 diabetics can absolutely have treats, in most cases, as long as they take insulin 💫
